Estonia is implementing increased security measures at the Narva-Ivangorod border crossing point by installing metal gates and retractable barriers. The works, said Antti Eensalu, head of the crossing point, are aimed at preventing unauthorized crossings and better control of the situation, especially in the case of migration. The infrastructure should be completed by the end of September, after concerns were raised about Russian hybrid attacks.
