Recep Tayyip Erdogan says Donald Trump has expressed his willingness to participate in peace talks between Ukraine and Russia, provided Vladimir Putin agrees. Following the NATO meeting, Erdogan emphasized that Turkey would make efforts to bring the leaders of the two countries to the negotiating table. In the context of previous negotiations, Russia has stepped up its attacks in Ukraine, with Moscow demanding recognition of the annexed regions and Ukraine's renunciation of its aspiration to join NATO.
