Several survivors of Jeffrey Epstein contest the recent testimony of Lesley Groff, who stated before the House Oversight Committee that she did not know about Epstein's abuses.

The victims claim to have personally met Groff and discussed their age, having been paid directly by her for 18 years, thus contradicting her statements. Groff was included as a possible co-conspirator in the 2008 non-prosecution agreement but was never charged. The committee's spokesperson stated that Groff's statement is being analyzed in relation to the available evidence.

Survivors express frustration, fearing that the hearings will not lead to accountability for those involved. Groff described Epstein's abuses as hidden by his manipulations, stating that she worked for "Dr. Jekyll" without knowing "Mr. Hyde." According to legislation, false statements before Congress are felonies.
