The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) issued a recommendation on Wednesday for airlines, suggesting they avoid flying over Jordan, which is affected by Iranian attacks.

EASA emphasized that the recurring missile and drone attacks on targets in Jordan, as well as the activation of air defense systems, significantly increase risks for aviation.

On the same day, the Jordanian army reported that it was targeted by two Iranian attacks, intercepting several missiles and four drones. Tehran launched these attacks in response to American bombings, targeting Washington's allies in the Middle East.

EASA has extended the recommendation to avoid airspace for Bahrain, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and the Gulf of Oman, as well as for Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon.
