Irish Prime Minister Micheal Martin mentioned a "significant escalation of hybrid attacks" against EU member states and announced that the government will increase defense spending ahead of taking over the six-month presidency of the EU Council. A detailed report will be presented to the Prime Minister by the National Security Council.
