At least 73 Palestinians, mostly women and children, were killed on Saturday in Israeli strikes in Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip.

Medhat Abbas, a health ministry official, said the strikes wounded dozens of people and some are still missing. According to emergency services, one building was targeted and several nearby houses were damaged.
