The negotiations in Geneva between Ukraine, Russia, and the United States took place over two days, culminating on Wednesday with a brief meeting. The delegations described the discussions as "constructive," but with progress made, especially on military aspects.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that, although progress has been made, the positions of Kyiv and Moscow still differ on sensitive topics such as occupied territories and the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant.

The negotiations were divided into two working groups, one focused on political aspects and the other on military ones. Zelensky mentioned that agreements were reached regarding the implementation of a potential ceasefire, but he stressed that a common political will is necessary, which is currently lacking. In the context of the negotiations, Russia continued to launch attacks on Ukraine, claiming the conquest of some villages in the Zaporizhzhia and Sumy regions.
