A tragic fire occurred in a nursing home in Manado, Indonesia, while the residents were sleeping, resulting in the death of 16 people. According to the police spokesperson, 15 of the victims died from burns, while the body of one victim remained intact. Rescue teams managed to save 15 survivors, who were transported to two nearby hospitals for medical care.


The bodies of the victims were taken to a hospital for identification. Firefighters took over two hours to extinguish the fire. Initially, the police reported that the fire may have been caused by an electrical malfunction, but the exact cause of the outbreak of flames is still under investigation.
