A well-organized network of 20-30 Romanian citizens was dismantled by the carabinieri in Rome after they observed suspicious activities in the Fontana di Trevi area. They were scamming tourists through the game 'alba-neagra', simulating winnings to attract them. The investigation led to the identification of approximately one hundred individuals involved, and the carabinieri confiscated gambling equipment and illegally obtained income. The network also included thieves who stole from tourists' pockets.
