Hungary is opposed to this, but Denmark will press to lift its veto. Bjerre emphasizes the importance of EU enlargement for security and stability, noting that Europe will pay a higher price if enlargement does not proceed. Denmark will also seek solutions for managing illegal migration, ensuring that international rules protect European citizens.
