Darryl Nirenberg, officially confirmed in the position of ambassador of the USA in Romania

The United States announced on Friday evening the confirmation of Darryl Nirenberg as the U.S. ambassador to Romania, the information being transmitted by the American Embassy in Bucharest. Nirenberg, a diplomat with over 40 years of experience in foreign policy, was nominated by President Donald Trump in May, following the withdrawal from office of Kathleen Kavalec, being described by the leader at the White House as a strong supporter of the "America First" agenda and a professional with extensive experience in the field of foreign relations.
