Cyprus has 2,200 bunkers and authorities are concerned about possible attacks on British military bases on the island. The British prime minister has confirmed the deployment of Typhoon fighter jets to Cyprus and Israeli airlines have moved the aircraft to the island for safety. Security at civilian airports has been tightened.
