In a severe economic crisis, Bolivians are preparing to elect their president as the right looks set to end the left-wing domination begun by Evo Morales. Inflation has reached 25% and incumbent president Luis Arce has withdrawn from the race. The frontrunners are Samuel Doria Medina and Jorge 'Tuto' Quiroga, both vowing to abandon Morales' statist model. The latter, despite his exclusion from the elections, continues to have supporters who threaten to mobilize in the event of a right-wing victory.
