The agreement, signed with French President Emmanuel Macron, is worth 320 million euros and will benefit from the support of the new European SAFE instrument for financing the European defense industry. Additionally, Croatia will modernize Rafale fighter jets with the help of France, ensuring that they reach a technological standard similar to that of the French Air Force. The two countries have also signed a Three-Year Action Plan to strengthen the Strategic Partnership, and trade exchanges between France and Croatia have significantly increased in recent years.
