Following the Ukrainian attacks, the authorities installed by Moscow in Crimea announced a temporary suspension of fuel sales to the population and the private sector, according to The Independent.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that the army struck military and energy targets near the Crimean Bridge, a crucial route for supplying Russian troops.
Russian Governor Sergei Aksyonov stated that fuel will only be distributed to public institutions providing essential services, without specifying the duration of the restrictions. Additionally, the authorities in Sevastopol canceled all public events and reduced street lighting to save electricity.
Zelensky warned of a possible escalation of the conflict, mentioning that Russia is preparing a new large-scale attack. The Ukrainian General Staff reported multiple Russian attacks, while Ukrainian forces struck command posts and coordination centers of Russian drones.
