Mexico's President Claudia Sheinbaum has called on the United States not to treat migrants as criminals, following the arrest of 35 Mexicans in raids in Los Angeles. She stressed that migrants contribute to the US economy and criticized the violent approach to immigration. Sheinbaum assured that Mexican diplomacy is in contact with those detained and condemned the raids as inappropriate, demanding respect for migrants' rights.
