In southern Iran, at least four people have been killed, including three members of the security forces and one civilian, following clashes that took place in the area of the Fahraj checkpoint, located in the east of Kerman province. The incident, reported by the official news agency Irna, occurred on Monday evening when security forces engaged in conflict with terrorist elements. The city of Fahraj is near the province of Sistan-Baluchistan, an area known for violence related to clashes between security forces, rebels from the Baluch minority, radical Sunni groups, and drug traffickers. This impoverished region is often the scene of such violent incidents.
