Japanese manufacturer Takata was responsible for the death of a 37-year-old woman in France, caused by the explosion of the airbag in a 2014 Citroen C3. Following this incident, Citroën requested the immediate immobilization of all C3 and DS3 vehicles equipped with these dangerous airbags, in order to carry out necessary repairs.
