Paris Olympics: The Chinese team won gold in the mixed air rifle shooting event.

At the Olympic shooting range in Chateauroux, Huang Yuting and Sheng Lihao brought China its first gold medal at the Paris Olympics. They defeated the South Korean team in the final 16-12. The mixed team air rifle shooting event was introduced into the Olympic program for the 2020 Tokyo Games, where the Chinese team also won.
