China has declared that it firmly opposes the economic pressures demanded by Trump to influence Beijing in the context of the war in Ukraine.

Following Donald Trump's call to European leaders to exert economic pressure on China due to its support for Russia, the spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Guo Jiakun, emphasized that China is not responsible for the crisis in Ukraine and firmly opposes such pressures. Although China has not condemned Russia, it presents itself as a neutral mediator in the conflict. The West accuses China of supporting Russia by circumventing imposed sanctions.
