China has decided to impose restrictions on public orders of medical equipment from the European Union, limiting orders of more than 45 million yuan. The move comes in response to EU tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles and reflects escalating trade tensions. The EU has banned Chinese companies from participating in public tenders for medical equipment, and China has announced it will also limit imports of medical devices from other countries with EU components.
