Following Donald Trump's statements advising Tehran residents to evacuate and urging Iran to sign a deal, China reacted by accusing him of "pouring gas on the fire". Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun emphasized that threats and pressure would not help calm the conflict, but would worsen the situation. Israel has stepped up its attacks on Iran, causing a large number of casualties, and Trump has continued to insist that Iran sign a deal.
