Friedrich Merz, the Chancellor of Germany, presented a modernization agenda that includes 23 projects aimed at reducing bureaucracy and supporting the economy. These measures target facilitating the establishment of companies and accelerating the processes of recognizing qualifications. Merz emphasized that Germany, affected by bureaucracy, loses 150 billion euros annually. Additionally, his cabinet approved investments of 500 billion euros in infrastructure and defense, as well as a plan for a nuclear fusion reactor.
