Bulgartransgaz will increase its incoming gas capacity from Greece by 50% by 2026 and will double supplies to Romania next year.

Vladimir Malinov, Director of Bulgartransgaz, announced that by the end of the year, the incoming capacity from Greece will increase by 50% to about 8 billion cubic meters per year, available from January 2026. The Greece-Bulgaria Gas Interconnector Greece-Bulgaria Gas Interconnector pipeline, completed in 2022, facilitates these deliveries. Bulgaria will also double its gas delivery capacity to Romania to more than 11 billion cubic meters from July next year.
