Bulgaria has officially announced its support for the implementation of the second stage of the Peace Plan for Gaza, initiated by the President of the USA, Donald Trump. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sofia believes that the new proposed leadership structures in the plan, such as the Peace Council and the National Management Committee for Gaza, are essential for the stabilization and reconstruction of the region. Bulgarian authorities emphasize the need for the full implementation of the plan, which includes security, humanitarian aid, and reconstruction. The former Bulgarian Foreign Minister, Nikolai Mladenov, will play a central role in this process, having been appointed High Representative of the Peace Council for Gaza. Bulgaria expresses its willingness to actively contribute to the implementation of the plan and to support international initiatives for the stability of the Middle East.
