The ban affects the Lukoil Neftochim refinery, majority-owned by Russian giant Lukoil. Russian crude will be replaced by imports from Kazakhstan, Iraq and Tunisia. The decision comes after Bulgaria stopped importing Russian natural gas in 2022.
