According to an analysis by the Institute for Market Economics, annual inflation in Bulgaria has met the euro accession criterion. The Bulgarian government plans to send requests for extraordinary convergence reports to Brussels and Frankfurt by January 31, 2025, as part of the procedure for fulfilling the accession criteria.
