Bryan Johnson, an American entrepreneur known for promoting life extension, announced that he suffers from autoimmune atrophic gastritis (AIG), an incurable condition recently discovered.

In a message on the social network 'X', Johnson mentioned that he does not know how long he has had this disease, which causes a deficiency of vitamin B12 and iron, leading to anemia. He promised to explore 'experimental approaches' for treatment and encouraged researchers to collaborate with him.

Johnson, at the age of 48, associated the onset of the disease with unhealthy eating in his youth and the stress of being a parent. He was the protagonist of the Netflix documentary 'Don’t Die: The Man Who Wants to Live Forever' and has spent millions of dollars to extend his life. Although he has been the subject of criticism and jokes on social media, Johnson remains optimistic, believing that modern technology can provide solutions for health issues.
