In The Hague, officials from Britain and France discussed a long-term defense plan for Ukraine, given the risk of a withdrawal of US support under the Trump administration. The conclusion of the meeting was that Europe must take greater responsibility for supporting Ukraine. In addition, it was agreed to invite President Zelenski to the NATO summit, despite Trump's opposition. Negotiations between Russia and Ukraine are scheduled in Istanbul with the participation of representatives from the UK, Germany and France.
