The incident occurred shortly after an Alaska Airlines plane took off. The company imposed restrictions on the aircraft following depressurization warnings in the days before the incident. Inspections on Boeing 737 Max 9 airplanes are continuing after insufficiently tightened bolts were found on some escape doors.
