US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said Monday that President Joe Biden's administration does not consider Israel's killing of Palestinians in Gaza in its war with Hamas as genocide. Speaking to reporters at the White House, Jake Sullivan also said that the United States wants to see Hamas defeated, that Palestinians caught in the middle of the war are in "hell" and that a major Israeli military operation in Rafah would be a mistake.
