Following some incidents with drones that disrupted operations at Munich airport, the Bavarian Minister of the Interior, Joachim Herrmann, announced that the police could be granted extended rights to shoot at drones. The draft legislation will be discussed soon, aiming to protect critical infrastructure. The threat posed by drones is considered real and increasing, and the police have already intervened after suspicious presences were reported near the airport.
