The new rules ban alcohol consumption on the streets in key tourist areas on the islands of Ibiza and Mallorca, except in terraces and other authorized areas. Penalties for breaking the law will be between €500 and €1,500. Boats organizing parties will also be banned from being within one nautical mile of the areas covered by the decree.
