Ilham Aliyev says Armenia must meet Azerbaijan's demands, including removing territorial claims over Nagorno-Karabakh from the constitution, in order to sign the peace treaty agreed last month. Although Armenia has announced it is ready to sign, Aliyev stresses that there are no additional conditions, and any constitutional change would require a referendum. The peace deal would be an important step in normalizing relations between the two countries in the context of international influence in the region.
