Europe is fast approaching the use of fully autonomous fighter jets, according to Helsing, which has carried out tests with a Gripen E aircraft. This software took complete control, demonstrating rapid advances in military technology. The Centaur AI system has accumulated the equivalent of 1 million hours of flight time in just 72 hours, surpassing human performance. Although pilots will not be completely replaced any time soon, they are expected to work closely with artificial intelligence. Recently founded Helsing has attracted significant investment, highlighting the growing interest in European defense.
