The proposal aims to stimulate birth rates and combat population loss in localities affected by migration and declining birth rates. The bonus of 8,400 euros would be distributed over a period of three years. In addition to this measure, families in Austria can benefit from subsidies for child care, and starting in 2025, the family allowance will be increased. These initiatives support approximately 1.2 million families with children.
