A Romanian woman and an Iranian man were arrested after they attempted to breach the Faslane naval base in Scotland, known for hosting Trident nuclear submarines. The incident occurred on Thursday, around 5:00 PM, at the gate of HM Naval Base Clyde, and the two accused, aged 34 and 31, will appear in front of the Dumbarton Court on Monday. The Faslane base, located on Gare Loch, is a vital strategic point for the British Royal Navy, with a staff of approximately 7,000 personnel. The Scottish police confirmed the arrest and have opened an investigation to determine the motives behind the attempt to breach the security area of the base.
