The UK competition authority has approved the Vodafone-Three merger, imposing conditions on 5G network investment and price caps.

The CMA's approval of the merger comes on the condition that the two companies invest heavily in developing a joint 5G network and impose caps on certain mobile tariffs. The merger will strengthen Vodafone's position as a market leader, with the company expecting the process to be completed by 2025.
