In Simón Bolívar Square in Caracas, about a hundred protesters organized an anti-American protest, chanting slogans such as 'Gringos, go home!' and 'Get out, yankee, assassins of Venezuela'.

This demonstration was part of a mobilization against the influence of the United States, in the context of the capture of former president Nicolás Maduro and American interventions following the devastating earthquakes of June 24, which caused nearly 5,500 deaths. The protesters burned flags of the United States and Israel and trampled on photographs of American leaders.

On the same day, memorial ceremonies took place across the country, especially in the areas affected by the earthquakes, where rescuers and relatives of the victims held a moment of silence. Many participants in the ceremonies called for the continuation of the search for missing relatives.

The protest highlights the political tensions in Venezuela, with accusations of interference from the United States in the internal affairs of the country.
