The Rijksmuseum in the Netherlands has confirmed the authenticity of a previously unknown work by Rembrandt, titled 'The Vision of Zechariah in the Temple', dated 1633. This painting illustrates the biblical scene in which the high priest Zechariah is visited by the Archangel Gabriel, highlighting the artist's distinctive style. Although the angel is not present in the image, the light in the right corner suggests his arrival.

The work was excluded from the official catalog of the artist in 1960 and was inaccessible for 65 years, until the owner requested authentication at the Rijksmuseum. The research process lasted two years, confirming the technique and materials used, and the signature was validated as original. The painting thematically aligns with other works by Rembrandt, demonstrating the mastery of the young artist who was only 27 years old at the time of its creation.
