Ashley Tellis, a consultant for the U.S. government, has been accused of illegally holding over 1,000 pages of secret documents and of meetings with Chinese officials.

Prosecutors stated that Tellis was found in possession of over 1,000 pages of secret documents at his residence. On the evening of September 25, he entered the State Department, where he printed a secret document about the techniques of the U.S. Air Forces. Additionally, Tellis met several times with Chinese officials, receiving gifts from them. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.
