Iran has shot down an American F-15 plane in the premier since the beginning of the war. The USA has launched a countdown mission to rescue the pilots.

American forces have initiated search and rescue operations for the pilots after a F-15 fighter jet was shot down over Iran. Sources have stated that the rescue efforts are captured in a geolocated video by CNN, which shows military aircraft flying at low altitude over Khuzestan province.

Iranian officials, according to the Tasnim agency, have begun searches for the missing crew, but without results so far. Separately, Fars News reported that a reward is being offered for the capture of the enemy pilots. The U.S. military and the White House have not commented on the situation.

This is the first time an American plane has been shot down during the conflict. Iranian media has published photos of the wreckage of the plane, claiming it is an F-15, and experts confirm that the structure and markings correspond to this type of aircraft.
