Alphabet, the owner of Google, reported second-quarter 2025 revenue of $96.43 billion, beating analyst estimates. YouTube advertising revenue rose to $9.8 billion, and the Google Cloud division generated $13.62 billion. Alphabet will increase its spending on artificial intelligence to $85 billion in 2025. The company also continues to attract users to its AI products, with over 2 billion users for AI Overviews. Operating expenses increased 20%, largely due to legal issues.
