On Sunday evening, Alaska Airlines announced the temporary suspension of all flights, including those operated by its Horizon Air subsidiaries, due to an IT failure. The company confirmed that its systems suffered an outage, resulting in the shutdown. Although no details were given about the nature of the problem, Alaska Airlines warned that delays would continue throughout the evening, without giving a timeframe for flights to resume.
