According to a poll by the Forsa Institute, the Alternative for Germany (AfD) has reached 26% of the vote, overtaking Chancellor Friedrich Merz's conservative bloc on 24%. AfD, a far-right party, recently achieved its best results in its history and is the largest opposition party in the Bundestag. Also, 67% of Germans are dissatisfied with Merz's performance after 100 days in office. This growing trend of right-wing populist parties is also reflected in other European countries.
