Actor James Handy, 81 years old, known for his role in the film 'Top Gun: Maverick', was killed Wednesday morning in Los Angeles by Michael Gledhill, the son of his girlfriend. Gledhill, 44 years old, contacted the police after the incident, stating: 'I am the man's son, I killed the sinful man.' Handy was found unconscious in front of a house in Tarzana, having a stab wound to the chest. Gledhill was arrested and charged with murder, being held on a $2 million bail. The police stated that the incident appears to be isolated, with no danger to the public. Handy had a prolific career, appearing in films such as 'Arachnophobia' and 'Jumanji', as well as in famous TV series.
