This measure aims to regulate access to the monument, which attracts approximately 30,000 visitors daily, and it is estimated that it will bring the municipality 6.5 million euros annually. Residents of Rome will continue to benefit from free access, while those who do not hold a ticket will be able to admire the fountain only from a distance. The Fontana di Trevi, famous due to the film "La Dolce Vita", is one of the most popular attractions in Rome.
