Rubina Aminian, a 23-year-old student studying design and fashion at Shariati College in Tehran, was shot dead in the head during the anti-government protests in Iran. According to the human rights group Iran Human Rights, the young woman was attacked from behind, and her family faced difficulties in recovering her body, having to bury her by the roadside due to the presence of security forces. Aminian was known as a courageous person who fought for women's rights and freedom. The violence during the protests led to the deaths of at least 538 people, including 490 protesters, and over 10,600 people were arrested.
