A two-year-old boy in India killed a snake that attacked him, biting it after the reptile wrapped itself around his arm.

The incident took place in the village of Bettiah, where the boy was playing. After he threw a stone at the snake, the cobra attacked him, coiling on his hand. In defense, the child bit the reptile, killing it, but suffered a bite that caused him to temporarily lose consciousness. Transported to hospital, he received prompt treatment and the effects of the venom were mild. Cobra died from the injuries caused by the child's bite.
