Data were collected using the CATI method (telephone interviews), the simple stratified sample size was 1150 persons, representative by significant socio-demographic categories (sex, age, occupation) for the non-institutionalized population of Romania, aged 18 years and over. The maximum permissible error of the data is ± 2.9% at 95% confidence.
Remus Ștefureac - Director INSCOP Research: "For the first time in recent years, the United States of America is back at the top of the confidence in countries as a result of a balanced distribution of confidence among most categories of the population. The UK and France have been overtaken amid a significantly lower level of trust among AUR voters. Trust in the Republic of Moldova is high (40%), but also significantly lower among AUR voters (19%), a likely effect of the recent electoral context. A very strong contrast is observed in terms of trust in Russia (11% trust among the general population), but with significant differences among voters of the main parties (8% of PSD voters trust Russia, 3% of PNL voters trust Russia, 1% of USR voters trust Russia and 21% of AUR voters trust Russia).
